Michelle began teaching kindergarten at Congressional in 1991 and transitioned to teaching First Grade in 2016.  Michelle is the mother of two girls. She lives in Vienna with her husband, Tom, daughter Annie, and her dog Carmen. Michelle is enjoying her more recent role as "grandma" to her daughter Trisha's adorable daughter. Outside of school, Michelle enjoys crafts, spending time with family, watching her youngest daughter play soccer, and spoiling her new granddaughter.
