Caroline joined the Congressional team in 2023 as the Middle School Art Teacher and 5th Grade Advisor. Caroline holds a BFA in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she studied fine arts, art history, and cross-cultural pedagogy. She is skilled in many different art forms such as painting, ceramics, drawing, and mixed media.
Caroline worked as an Art Educator in Baltimore, teaching visual arts to 7th and 8th grade students at Woodlawn Middle School. She also worked for the Peace Corps in Indonesia, where she taught students English and implemented visual arts in the classroom. During her time in college, she taught Kindergarten-5th grade students in a local elementary school as a student-teacher where she introduced the students to clay, mixed media, collaborative quilt-making, and printmaking.
