Little School Playground Project
Get ready for joyful outdoor learning! Congressional School is thrilled to announce a transformational initiative to bring brand-new playgrounds and community gathering spaces to our Little School!
This exciting project will augment teaching and learning, enhancing discovery and adventure for our youngest learners. Play is learning, and the playground is an extension of the learning environment. It is an essential component of student success.
THE POWER OF PLAY
The importance of play cannot be overstated, and a thoughtfully designed playground is crucial for maximizing the benefits of play. When playgrounds are created with purpose, they support diverse play styles and contribute to children's overall cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. Children's play patterns reveal the necessity of comprehensive playground designs that enable them to explore their world, cultivate essential skills, and gain confidence through social interaction.

Why is the Playground Renovation Important?
Watch a short video to hear what this rennovation means to our teachers and students.
As an early childhood educator, I know the importance of play. Play really is the work of children. It is our job to advocate for our students, and they deserve the best places to play.
