B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Temple University 

Alla Melnik' educational journey began at The Meadowbrook School in Philadelphia, where she taught Pre-K for two years. She then moved to Washington DC to work as a Co-Lead Pre-K teacher at The Takoma Children’s School. In September 2020, Alla started her role at Congressional School. Additionally, she served as the Director of Great Adventures camp during the Summer 2023 season.

Alongside her teaching career, Alla is an avid artist, carrying a sketchbook wherever she goes. She has illuminated children’s books, including "All the Feels" and "Nurse Florence, Why and How Do We Breathe?", and is currently working on another book for the Nurse Florence series. In her spare time, Alla enjoys puzzle-making, cross-stitching, and drawing. Her diverse talents and passion for education and art inspire her to enrich the lives of other young learners.
