Although Mirella has taught different age groups, teaching Preschool is where her passion truly lies. During the 20 years of her career she has engaged in different extra curricular activities as well. These include: Lead Counselor during summer camp, creating different after school programs for art and science and organizing tutoring programs for math, and reading and beginning Spanish.
Mirella joined Congressional School in 2018 as a Kindergarten Assistant and transitioned to Preschool as a Lead Teacher in the fall of 2019. Her transition has been welcoming and exciting. Mirella has been blessed with continuing friendships with many of the families she has served over the years. She enjoys being with family and friends, dancing, going to concerts and going to movies; especially funny and scary ones!
