Sophia joined Congressional School in 2021. Before Congressional, she taught 1st grade for 7 years at Montgomery County Public Schools. In addition, Sophia was an Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) Teacher for over eight summers. She has worked as a long-term substitute in Montgomery County Public Schools, gained experience as a professional development intern, and spent three years as a lead teacher at a Montessori school. Outside of school she loves travelling, discovering new places to eat and spending time with her husband and three boys.
