Vaia joined our Physical Education & Athletics Department in 2023. Vaia holds a Bachelor of Science Honours from Democritus University of Thrace in Greece, as well as a Best Masters of Science in Sports Management from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. She has experience working in the UK as well as in British education overseas. Most recently, Vaia worked as a PE Teacher/ Learning Assistant at The British International School of Washington, teaching physical education to students in grades 3 and 5. Vaia is fluent in both English and Greek, having lived and worked in both Greece and the UK.
