Instructional Coach for Grades 4-8

Master of Education, Elementary Education & Moderate Disabilities Education K-8, Gordon College

Leah Webster joined Congressional School in the 2021 school year. Most recently, she came from a position as the Center Director of a Lindamood-Bell Center in her home state of Massachusetts. Her previous classroom positions include Assistant Preschool Teacher, Elementary Music Teacher, and PK-12 Substitute Teacher. Because of her desire to support struggling students, Leah started working at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes in 2013 while working on her Master's Degrees. In her eight years there, she focused on supporting students ages three to adult with developing foundations in reading, language comprehension, and math. Leah's roles included Instructor, Case Manager, Program Trainer, and Center Director. She is excited to get back to the classroom and participate in bringing innovative teaching practices to Congressional.

When not at school, Leah loves spending time with her husband and dog, crafting, or voraciously reading books. She can often be found wandering the National Mall or enjoying local historical sites.
