Michelle previously taught math for Fairfax County Public Schools. She taught a wide range of levels to a diverse group of students and was the Algebra 2 team lead. She was also involved outside of the classroom as a class sponsor and assistant girls’ varsity lacrosse coach. Michelle spent two summers teaching summer school and five summers as a curriculum developer. She has spent the past several years raising and teaching her two daughters, as well as being heavily involved in their school communities. In addition, Michelle has been a private math tutor for the past fifteen years.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and education, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, and holds an active Virginia teaching license. Michelle enjoys traveling and going on fun adventures with her family.
